The Pain Management Center at Grace Clinic was established to improve the quality of life for people who suffer from acute, chronic and cancer-related pain. The effects of pain may decrease a person's ability to function and can lead to frustration, irritability, and anger.

We offer the following diagnostic and treatment services:
Evaluation
- Physical Examination - Assessment to locate and and determine the nature of the pain
- Psychological Assessment - Evaluation of underlying emotional factors that may contribute to or aggravate pain
- Imaging - Diagnostic methods such as CT, MRI, X-ray, and Ultrasound can be used to discover the source of pain
- Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve-Conduction Studies - Electrical testing used to diagnose injuries or diseases affecting the muscles and nerves
- Disability Exams (Functional Assessments) - Comprehensive examination to provide an expert opinion on the extent to which pain interferes with the ability to conduct normal activities
Treatments That May Be Appropriate
- Pain Blocks - Includes steroid injections, local-anesthetic injections, and infusion pumps for pain medication
- Chronic Pain Management - Includes stress-management techniques and non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory medicines
- Mental-Health Care - Treatment for individuals who have pain brought on by psychological factors or whose long-term pain is causing emotional problems
- Addiction Treatment - Therapies for pain attributed to narcotic addiction
- Surgery - Procedures to treat injury or disease responsible for pain, when appropriate
